With Shreddage 3 bundle I get the complete series for less than double the price. With Rock Band bundle I will get guitars which should get me going and give me plenty to figure out and learn for quite some time to come. Having no experience with Shreddage 3, I would like to ask for your opinion on owning few of the libraries vs. It so happens that there are 2 great deals on Shreddage 3 bundles up right now: I am a beginner and have no experience using guitar libraries.īut I sure know my ideas for orchestral/metal songs will need one (or few?).Īfter some research I figured Shreddage 3 series should do the job for me. In the meantime I will keep trying to improve it.I've been looking for an electric guitar library.

If anybody knows how to achieve a black metal sound like that style but without that much hiss with any Shreddage virtual guitars, I would like to know how. I am gonna try EQ it more ofc but just wanted to show how it sounds with the current settings. _- Warning: have the volume a little bit more decreased than normal cause it will be loud if you attempt to hear it. I can EQ and make most of the hiss go but it hurts the guitar sound as well and it sounds thin. But I still played some of that just to show how it sounds with the settings I did.

When using chords of course with tremolo it multiplies the hiss even more since its not really designed to play like power chords with tremolo. Seems like the clean sounds are much easier to accomplish compared to high gain "dirty" sounds. I only managed to create a solo guitar sound style with Rogue which is kinda close to a real one. I tried to search tutorials with Shreddage and High Gain sounds especially if someone might use the tremolo articulation but I didn't find any. Wonder if I do something wrong in my fx chain workflow. In reality it's like the recordings of the samples are bad cause I tried to turn up the volume a lot and you start hearing a small hiss from the recordings which is then boosted through TH-U of course then it creates a veil of hiss and hum behind the "good sounds" ruining the total sound.

The most hiss is coming when I activate TH-U I have to say. Also I tried to EQ very much the DI as well except after the Amp. I think Serpent's tremolo sounds a little better than Hydra cause I tried to use Hydra in its place but it sounded a little bit worst in but also in terms of how the tremolo articulation behaves. I don't know but I tried to make a Black Metal Riff with Serpent and spent a lot of time to EQ as best I could but I still get hiss no matter what I do. Or maybe TH-U is for blame or my fault not setting it correctly :P. Click to expand.Yeah I think it must be the DI line noise like they didn't record the samples well without eliminating backround noises or I just do something wrong.
